All in Badminton ("we," "us," or "our") operates the All in Badminton mobile application and website at https://allinbadminton.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Google Sign-In is our primary authentication method. When you choose to sign in with Google, we request only the information needed to identify your account: your name, email address, and profile photo (via Google's openid, email, and profile scopes). We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other Google account data beyond what is listed under Account information below.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and limited information from third-party sign-in providers.
Account information
- Name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Google
- Authentication identifiers and session data required to keep you signed in
- Profile preferences you choose during onboarding (skill level, playing style, role, and similar settings)
Badminton activity data
- Match scores, participants, sets, and match metadata you log
- Club memberships, join requests, and club-related activity
- Tournament entries, brackets, and related competition data
- Coach and student relationships, availability, and coaching notes you add
Location and discovery (optional)
- Approximate location or city information only when you opt in to player discovery features
- Discover visibility settings you control in the app
Device and technical data
- Push notification tokens if you enable notifications
- Device type, operating system, app version, and general usage logs needed to operate and secure the Service
- IP address and request metadata processed by our hosting infrastructure
How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate you and manage your account
- Store and display your match history, club activity, and tournament participation
- Enable optional discovery features when you choose to be visible to other players
- Send transactional notifications related to matches, clubs, or tournaments you participate in
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf and under contractual obligations appropriate to their role:
- Google — sign-in (OAuth), and location or place search features where enabled
- Cloudflare — application hosting, content delivery, and related infrastructure
- Apple and Google — push notification delivery when you opt in on mobile devices
When you sign in with Google, Google processes your authentication according to Google's Privacy Policy. We receive basic profile information (such as name, email, and profile picture) that Google shares with us for account creation and sign-in.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
- With other users as part of normal Service features (for example, match participants, club members, or tournament organizers)
- With service providers who help us host, secure, and operate the Service
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of All in Badminton, our users, or others
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain data for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.
Your Choices and Rights
- Access and update profile information in the app or web dashboard
- Opt out of player discovery at any time in your settings
- Disable push notifications in your device settings
- Request account deletion or a copy of your data by contacting us
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as access, correction, deletion, or objection). Contact us to exercise those rights.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) in transit and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
International Users
The Service may be operated from and hosted on infrastructure located in various countries. If you access the Service from outside your home country, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws.
